The public is notified of a motorcade and recognition ceremony to be held on Friday, April 26 to welcome home and honour Gold medalist Jaleel Croal and the team of athletes who represented the BVI at the 2019 CARIFTA Games.

The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board (BVITB) in partnership with the prestigious U.S. based sports institution IMG Academy, is accepting applications for three aspiring BVI athletes to attend a “Week Youth Core Sport Camp”. Several of the professional tennis players who played at the 2018 Miami Open, are alumni of IMG Academy.

Athletes from the Primary School divisions throughout the Territory compete in Inter Primary School Sports Division B and A sports day events on March 13 and 14 at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds.

The public is advised that permission has been granted to members of the Track Club to use the A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds track.

The public including coaches and athletes are reminded that the A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground is not available for use.
