Steady progress continues to be made on the recovery front as new contracts were signed to advance recovery works in the Virgin Islands.

The Government of the Virgin Islands continues with its road rehabilitation projects which are being executed in collaboration with the Recovery and Development Agency. 

Motorists are advised that the lower part of Great Mountain road will be closed  tomorrow Thursday, November 19 to Saturday November, 21 from 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to allow for major excavation work. 

Residents in Little Dix, Josiah’s Bay, Jennings Hill, Lambert, Balsam Ghut, and Shepherd Hill are notified that works will resume in the restoration of the public water service tomorrow Tuesday, November 17, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has said the Territory’s greatest asset is its people and that it is the mantra of the Government to build the people of the Virgin Islands.

Three contracts for major recovery projects including Rehabilitation and Slope Stabilisation Works on Tortola and repair of the Vanterpool Administration Building on Virgin Gorda were signed today by the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA).

The Government of the Virgin Islands has signed a contract for $100,000 with AGS Construction for work on Phase II of the Jeffrey Caines Sports Arena in Virgin Gorda.

The RDA now invites tenders from eligible and qualified Tenderers for the repair works to the Anegada Administration Building located at The Settlement, Anegada in the British Virgin Islands. 

The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has announced the appointment of Ms. Patlian Johnson as the Community Liaison Officer (CLO) for a period of one year effective August 17.

The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency now invites interested eligible individual consultants to submit Request for Proposals indicating qualifications and experience required to provide these consultancy services.
