Lynette Harrigan, Niche Marketing and Tourism Liaison Manager at the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission received the award of Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) from His Majesty King Charles III for her contributions to International Travel during the COVID-19 pandemic and to the community in the British Virgin Islands. This special recognition was given in the announcement of His Majesty King Charles III’s New Year’s Honours List.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is seeking qualied persons to serve as Member (Representing Employers) and Member (Representing Employed persons) on the Social SecurityBoard.
The nine-month-long Public Service compensation review, which is being conducted by consultancy firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services Limited (PwC), has been categorised into six essential phases.
The public is notified that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour will be closing at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 21 December to facilitate a staff meeting.
