BVIPA Operations Team Complete Forklift Testing

The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) Operations team completed forklift testing that was carried out by the Department of Motor Vehicles on 8 September 2021 at the Port Purcell facility. To maintain compliance with international standards it is important that team members from our Operations Department are licensed to operate the warehouse equipment.

West End Ferry Terminal To Be Rebuilt- Design Contract Signed

BVI Ports Authority Defers Fee Increases to 2022

Road Town, June 21, 2021 – Pursuant to the public announcement made by Premier and Minister with responsibility for Ports, Andrew Fahie, on Thursday, April 8th, regarding the deferment of port fee increases to 2022, the British Virgin Islands Ports Authority officially advises all stakeholders that the majority of fees have been deferred to January 2022.

Pursuant to the public announcement made by Premier and Minister with responsibility for Ports, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie, on Thursday, April 8th, regarding the postponement of port fee increases to 2022, the British Virgin Islands Ports Authority officially advises all stakeholders that the majority of fees, included those scheduled to take effect next month, will be postponed to January 2022.
