Commissioner for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Mr. Kye Rymer, has said that his department is serving its customers although faced with challenges created by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
Owners and operators of bars and food establishments on Virgin Gorda who are applying for or renewing liquor licences should submit a copy of their applications to the Environmental Health Division by no later than November 17.
Owners and operators of bars and food establishments who are applying for or renewing liquor licences on Tortola should submit a copy of their applications to the Environmental Health Division no later than November 24.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is reminding visitors to the Territory that effective September 1, an environmental and tourism levy of $10.00 will be collected on arrival at all ports of entry.

The Licencing Magistrate is reminding all persons desirous of selling intoxicating liquor during the upcoming Emancipation Festival that they are to apply for and obtain a temporary liquor licence to do so.
Government is moving proactively to initiate the changes necessary to facilitate more substance-based economic activity in the Territory as part of the BVI Forward campaign.
