The BVI Health Services Authority is the recipient of a mobile health clinic as part of ongoing support from the United Kingdom to the Virgin Islands.

The BVI is being used as the testing ground for the first SMART standards initiative promoted by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).

The BVI Health Services Authority is raising awareness of the importance of Imagining and its role in the management of disease as it observes Radiology Awareness Week.

The Family Health Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development in collaboration with the BVI Health Services Authority will be offering a Self-Management Programme for persons with chronic diseases from November 15 to December 13.

Residents of the Virgin Islands have answered the call to contribute financially and assist with the outfitting of the New Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre on Virgin Gorda.

Another pledge programme was successfully launched as donations raised to outfit the Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre on Virgin Gorda have increased to over $500,000.
