The public is advised that all food establishments including catering services are to remain closed with the exception of supermarkets, minimarts and bakeries.

Persons who patronised the following establishments between August 15 and 22 are urged to get tested for COVID-19:

Ladies and gentlemen, Good Evening. COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization in mid-March 2020 and resultantly, the Government of the Virgin Islands took immediate and decisive measures to protect lives and livelihoods.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has just confirmed that a total of 92 samples collected have tested negative for the COVID-19 virus.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has confirmed that there are nine new positive cases of COVID-19 in the British Virgin Islands bringing the total active cases to 12 and the total reported cases to 21.

The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) is ensuring that safety measures are being implemented at the Great Mountain 1 project site in accordance with its requirements and organisational culture of safety.
