The public is notified that due to impending weather, all primary care services at the hospital and community clinics in addition to visitation at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith hospital will be closed at 1:00 p.m.
Maples BVI has donated an additional $12,500 to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture to go towards the Elmore Stoutt High School’s Music Programme.
The third phase of repair works on the Bregado Flax Educational Centre (BFEC), Virgin Gorda, commenced on May 26, just 25 days after the contract was signed to Quality Construction Limited.

The Government of Virgin Islands (GOVI) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to US$65,291,000 towards the cost of CDB No. 12/SRF-OR-BVI: Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan – Hurricane Irma Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under a contract for which this invitation is issued.

Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye Rymer and the Managing Directors of Autland Heavy Equipment Limited are featured on May 7 as they signed contracts for works to begin on the construction of new reservoirs, retaining walls and metering at Zion Hill and Carrot Bay.

Mister Speaker, I would like to provide Honourable Members, and by extension the public, with an update on the work being done by your Virgin Islands Government to access the offer by the UK Government of Guarantees for Loans to facilitate recovery and development work following the devastating hurricanes of 2017.
Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye Rymer is currently representing the Territory at the 4th Caribbean Infrastructure Forum (CARIF 2020) being held in Jamaica on January 21 and 22.
