The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) in the British Virgin Islands was established to implement the Government’s recovery plan following the devastating effects of Hurricane Irma in 2017.
The Government of Virgin Islands (GOVI) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to US$65,291,000 towards the cost of CDB No. 12/SFR-OR-BVI: Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan – Hurricane Irma Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under a contract for which this invitation is issued.

The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has launched its Grievance Redress System (GRS) to provide a platform through which residents can formally lodge complaints on the work of the agency, its projects and its team.
Virgin Islanders who are interested in pursuing studies at the master’s level in areas including Risk Management are being invited to apply for scholarships from the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility Segregated Portfolio Company (CCRIF SPC).
The public is notified that the Great Mountain Road will be closed on Saturday, 20 March from 9 a.m. until 4 :00 p.m. and again on Monday, 22nd March at 8:30 a.m. until Wednesday, 24 March at 4:00 p.m.
Motorists are advised that due to the reinstatement of the road surface of Little Dix Hill there will be no through traffic from 7:00 a.m. Friday March 12 until Tuesday March 16.
