The Ministry of Health and Social Development has instituted COVID-19 Burial Protocols to support families who have the difficult task of burying loved ones who died from the disease.
This guide contains important information on what to do when burying a loved one whose death is related to COVID-19 in the Virgin Islands. It contains a step-by-step process for registering the death, getting approval for the final resting place, the viewing of loved ones and the funeral service.
The public is reminded that there will be a public viewing for the late Mr. Elton Georges, CMG, OBE on Thursday, April 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Sea Cow’s Bay Methodist Church.
