Ensures the protection of the community by effectively supervising youth and adult offenders and providing opportunities for the offender(s) rehabilitation. The following services are offered under this programme:
- Offender Risk Assessments
- Pre-Release Report (Compulsory Supervision)
- Post-Release Status Report (Compulsory Supervision)
- Pre-Parole Report
- Violation/Revocation Reports
- Drug Testing
- Victim Impact Statement
- Community Service Placement
Process
Step 1: Applicants must complete and submit the Intake Application.
Step 2: The completed application/case file is forwarded to the Senior Probation/Parole Officer for review and assignment.
Step 3: The case file is assigned to a Probation/Parole Officer within three working days.
Step 4: The Probation/Parole Officer contacts the applicant to set up an appointment to conduct functional assessment.
Step 5: The Probation/Parole Officer then prepares a social inquiry report and submit to immediate supervisor for a decision. This process can take up to five to seven working days.
