The Ministry of Health in St. Lucia officially notified the Caribbean Public Health Agency, CARPHA of the receipt of positive laboratory results for two suspected cases that were part of a wider investigation of six cases of prolonged, severe cough in small children requiring hospital admission.

Representatives from thirteen countries are in the BVI attending the 40th Conference of the Caribbean, the Americas and the Atlantic Region of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA)

Chairman of the Minimum Wage Advisory Committee, Mr. Simon Potter handed over the official document of the Territory’s Minimum Wage Report to Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Dr. the Honourable Kedrick Pickering on Friday, July, 24, following the completion of its six month mandate.
The Ministry of Communication and Works is advising residents and visitors to the Virgin Islands to take the extra measures in ensuring their safety and the safety of others during this festival season.

Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, Mr. Kye Rymer said that the DMV has recognised the fact that times have changed and the department will be modernising the testing procedures for the cone and road tests. He said the DMV met with the various driving schools in the Territory earlier this year to ensure that the schools were aware of the new rules being implemented.
