The Ministry of Health and Social Development in its response to providing relief to the community in the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, has started the application process to provide housing assistance to homeowners.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE left the Territory on Friday, October 27 to attend a Caribbean Overseas Territories meeting and tourism industry meetings in Miami and New York. The Premier will also travel to London, UK for attendance at official meetings.
Workers in the field of construction are invited to register with the Labour Department’s registration desk for employment within the Virgin Islands labour force.
Employers of migrant workers are advised to provide the Immigration and Labour Departments with a post hurricane notification outlining their current position and intentions, specifically as it relates to their future operations and staff complement.
