A workshop to build on the general principles of procurement, and inventory control in the medicine supply chain management in the Virgin Islands will be held next week. 

Local Attorney at law, Ms. Fiona Forbes, has been appointed to the post of Chairman of the Police Service Commission, while, Barrister and former law enforcement officer, Mr. Kendell Mills, was appointed a member of the Police Service Commission effective August 6.

This year’s event is scheduled from September 7 to September 11, and again from September 21 to September 25. It will be followed by an awards ceremony for participants on Sunday, September 27, to be held under the patronage of Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE.

The Inland Revenue Department is preparing to launch a comprehensive rebranding campaign in its ongoing efforts to educate the British Virgin Islands community about the services offered by the department. This campaign is scheduled to begin September 1 until December 18.
