Contractors from Anegada, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and Tortola are reminded to register their interest in carrying out housing projects.
The deadline for registration has been extended for this group of persons whose names will be added to a database of qualified contractors to ensure that the tender process for projects is more efficient. Contracts may be issued directly by the Government or other funding agencies.
Interested contractors are asked to apply using the Contractor Registration Form with the required documentation including a valid trade licence; certificates of Good Standings from Inland Revenue, Social Security Board and the National Health Insurance; and must have a minimum of five years’ experience in the construction field. Forms are available online on the Government’s website at www.bvi.gov.vg under the Housing Recovery Assistance Programme service tab.
The forms must be submitted to the Ministry of Health and Social Development, located at Old Peebles Hospital Annex on Tortola. Persons can also email these items to firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 852-7742 for more information.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development aspires to provide a caring and integrated system of health and social services that facilitates the recovery of human development and quality of life in the British Virgin Islands.
