Role Summary

The successful applicant will support the Unit by performing data/information checking duties in an efficient and competent manner.

Main Responsibilities

1. Receive entries from the Team Leader on a daily basis and check them for correctness of classification, valuation and calculation with support/assistance from assigned officers.

2. Assist in the daily checking of T12’s to ensure accuracy.

3. Attend meetings, training sessions and workshops to ensure awareness of changes to policies or procedures which may be relevant to the role.

4. Perform any other related duties as required by the Supervisor or any other senior officer in order to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Ministry/Department.

Minimum Qualification

 High School diploma or equivalency

 One (1) year working experience

 Valid BVI driver’s license (if required)

 Basic knowledge of Government structure, policies and procedures

 Good oral and written communication skills

 Basic knowledge of the use of standard office equipment

 Working knowledge of relevant computer software applications

 Basic knowledge of general office procedures

 Good time management and organisational skills

 Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
