All Invited To Eco-Walk

The Conservation and Fisheries department is inviting the public to participate in an educational and stimulating “Eco-Walk” scheduled for Saturday, April 25.

The walk will be led by the department’s staff and will start at the Market Square in Road Town at 5:00 a.m. Participants will walk through a special route  to Sea Cow’s Bay and back to Road Town.

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour, Ronald Smith-Berkeley said that the ongoing works will greatly improve the mooring capacity of the previous dock and soon fishermen will be able to experience a safer, sustainable and improved docking area at Red Bay.

All Invited To Public Meeting On Minimum Wage Review

The Minimum Wage Committee is inviting the public to attend a meeting to discuss the revision of the Territory’s Minimum Wages.

Public meetings will be held on Tortola at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall, on Wednesday March 18 at 7:00 p.m. and on Virgin Gorda at the Catholic Community Centre on Wednesday March 25, at 6:00 p.m.

The Committee seeks to convene meetings under the motto; “This is the time. Let your voice be heard.”
