Clients and students of the Autism Centre, Rainbow Children Home and BVI Services were gifted with a new playground donated by Unite BVI.
Residents of the Virgin Islands are invited to Wear Blue or ‘Every Child Matters’ t-shirts on Friday, April 26 to demonstrate unity against child abuse and to support survivors.
The Social Development Department is partnering with local family owned business, LSL Bakery to produce blue cupcakes every Friday in April in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month. This year’s theme is ‘Every Child Matters’.
The Social Development Department is inviting families on Tortola to a Movie Night on Saturday, April 27 at Captain Mulligans at Nanny Cay at 6:00 p.m.
This event will take place at the St. Mary's Anglican Church Grounds, Virgin Gorda from 5-8:00 p.m.
Persons are asked to walk with a blanket as the event is outdoor.
THis event will take place at the Noel Lloyd Posistive Action Movement Park at 10:00 a.m.
This event will take place at Captain Mulligans in Nanny Cay, Tortola at 6:00 p.m.
The Public is encouraged to wear a blue article of clothing on this day.
