Public Service Excellence Award Committee To Visit Jost Van Dyke

The Department of Human Resources is informing public officers on Jost Van Dyke that a team consisting of members of the Public Service Excellence Award Steering Committee will be visiting Jost Van Dyke on Tuesday, 28 April.

The team will meet with officers in their respective departments to further educate them about the award programme, which is designed to recognise high performers and improve employee morale in the Public Service. The aim is also to arouse their interest in the nomination process.

World Day For Safety And Health At Work To Feature Exhibition

An exhibition highlighting workplaces in the public and private sector and a ceremony on health and safety in the workplace are activities slated to take place as the Territory observes World Day for Safety and Health at Work on Tuesday, April 28.

Study Leave

To award training scholarships to eligible officers annually based on the Government’s training needs and the availability of funds.

Confirmation of Years of Service

To determine the qualifying years of service of an officer for the purposes of pension calculations and eligibility for retirement.

Retirement from the Public Service

Officers that have or are approaching compulsory retirement, after having attained the age of 60 or have worked in the Service for 25 continuous years may apply for retirement benefits.

Job Letter Request, Retiree

A verification of employment and compensation requested from an officer who retired from the Government.
