The public is advised that due to the recent update from the Department of Disaster Management, the intensity of the rainfall and the road situation report from the Public Works Department, all Government Offices are closed today, June 6, with the exception of essential services.
Due to the anticipated adverse weather conditions forecasted for today, Thursday 6th June, 2024, the Department of Disaster Management has advised the closure of all public schools in the territory. This decision is to ensure the safety of our students and staff as heavy rainfall due to thunderstorms are expected to impact the territory throughout the day.

The Ministry of Financial Services, Labour and Trade is informing the public that the BVI Business Banking Expo, which was scheduled for today 6th June 2024 at Treasure Isle Restaurant has been postponed due to the inclement weather.
The public is notified that there would be an interruption to the traffic flow on Joe’s Hill road in the vicinity of Paul P. Wattley Drive to the junction of the Ridge Road from Tuesday, June 4 at 7:00 a.m. to Saturday, June 15 at 6:00 p.m.
The Ministry of Financial Services, Labour and Trade is inviting all business owners to participate in the BVI Business Banking Expo, which is scheduled for Thursday, 6th June 2024 at Treasure Isle Restaurant.
The public is advised that the Joe’s Hill Road in the vicinity of the Paul P. Wattley drive to the junction of the Ridge Road will be closed on Sunday, June 2 at 7:00 a.m. to Monday, June 3 at 6:00 p.m. to facilitate road rehabilitation works.
