Tenders For Renovation Of Ground Floor - Road Town Fire Station

The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for the Renovation of the Ground Floor of the Road Town Fire Station.

The proposed works comprise of furnishing all plant, labour, equipment and materials and performing all operations in accordance with the aforementioned drawings and specifications.

Procurement Coordinator Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said, “Bidders registered in the Virgin Islands will be required to submit updated Certificates of Good Standing from the BVI Social Security Board, National Health Insurance and the Inland Revenue Department along with other documentations listed in the Tender Document ‘Instructions to Tenderers’ and that documents should be notarized no earlier than one month prior to the date of submission.”

Mrs. Rhymer added that bidding documents will be available from Monday, July, 13 and will be sent to bidders electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title “Renovation of the Ground Floor of Road Town Fire Station, Road Town, Tortola.”

Interested tenderers should submit one (1) original and three (3) copies plus one (1) copy on a flash drive in a sealed envelope.  The original bid should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked “Original” and the additional copies placed in another sealed envelope and marked “Copies”. Both envelopes should then be placed in an outer envelope mark “Renovation of Ground Floor of Road Town Fire Station, Road Town, Tortola British Virgin Islands.” All bids must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August, 25 and addressed to:

Tenders will be opened at the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, Qwomar Trading Building #2, 2nd Floor on Tuesday, August 25 at 11:30 a.m.  All Tenderers are invited to witness this process via “Webex” and will be provided with the access code and password prior to the opening.

Tenders Invited For Construction Of Social Home At West End

The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for the Construction of a new Social Home in Fresh Water Pond, West End, Tortola.

The proposed works comprise of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials and performing all operations in connection with the construction of the new Social Home in accordance with the drawings and specifications. 

Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said, “Eligible tenderers are required to submit Certificates of Good Standing in respect of Social Security, National Health Insurance, Inland Revenue, the Commercial Registry and a valid Trade Licence along with detailed work programme showing the order in which the various sections of works are to be executed.” 

Mrs. Rhymer added that Tenderers must also provide a Bond/Tender Security not less than 1% of the bid price, by way of a Bank or accredited Insurance Company with their tender.

Bidding documents are available from Monday, July 6 and would be sent to bidders electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title “Construction of the New Social Home, Fresh Water Pond, West End, Tortola.”

Interested tenderers should submit (1) original and three (3) copies, plus  one (1) flash drive containing the bidder’s documents in sealed envelopes marked, “ORIGINAL” and the additional copies placed in another sealed envelope marked “COPIES”.  Both envelopes should then be placed in the Tender Box in an outer envelope marked “Construction of the New Social Home in Fresh Water Pond, West End, Tortola”  and must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11 and addressed to:
