Processing of Annual Local Fishing Licence

Process

Step 1: Customer submits the application forms  1 and 4 as a package to the Conservation and Fisheries Department along with the application fee as issued

      Step 2:  The Department issues a Government receipt. After reviewing the Application, a recommendation is made and the licence is processed along with the Certification of Registration of a Local Fishing vessel form. 

Step 3: Customer  is informed of the availability of the licence and the amount of the  Licence fee.

Step 4:  Customer pays the license fee and collects the licence.

Supporting Documents

  • Passport or Drivers Licence for crew including the owner of the vessel, Costal Craft Licence and Certificate of Inspection.
  • In addition to the above requirements, if the vessel is a local commercial, the owner is required to submit a Log book of his/ her catches for the previous year.
  • If the vessel is foreign ID for crew, Certificate of  Document or Certificate of Boat Registration.
