His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Augustus J. U Jaspert on the advice of the Public Service Commission, has approved the acting appointment of Mr. Jeremy W. Hodge as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Works.

The Government of the  Virgin Islands has paid tribute to former Chief Minister, tourism visionary and local cruise industry pioneer Cyril B. Romney, by renaming the Tortola Pier Park in his honour.
