The first cohort of participants in the Ministry of Education and Culture’s (MEC) Apprenticeship Programme is moving into its sixth month and additional training for new and old cohorts will be held through a workshop from September 14 to 18.
Acting Governor Mrs. V. Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Ronnie W. Skelton has stated that the National Health Insurance, through pooled contributions, is not only more cost effective and affordable for the wider population, but will have significant long-term social and economic benefits for the Virgin Islands.
