Mrs. H. Lynden Smith is featured as she was presented with the Ministry of Education's Literacy Award during the opening ceremony for ‘Reading is Fun Week’ on Sunday, October 10. Mrs. Smith who introduced ‘Reading is Fun Week’ in 1992 and other projects over the years was honoured for her contribution to literacy and reading in the Virgin Islands.
Former Chief Conservation and Fisheries Officer, the late Mr. Bertrand B Lettsome also known as Washasha X is being honoured by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for World Food Day 2021.
