The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for the processing and exportation of scrap metal from the temporary derelict vehicle site in Pockwood Pond.

The successful tenderer would be required to provide personnel, machinery equipment and barge to process derelict vehicles and other scrap metals. All refuse that originates from the process of the scrap metals must be properly collected and disposed of at the incinerator in an environmentally safe manner.

The successful contractor is also responsible for providing statistics of the amount of scrap metal processed and exported out of the Territory.

All bidders are to provide valid Trade Licence and detailed experience in the type of work to be carried out, along with current Certificates of Good Standing in respect of Social Security, National Health Insurance, Commercial Registry and Income Tax.

Tenders must be submitted by August 15, 2022, in a sealed envelope marked “Processing and Exportation of Scrap Metal from the Temporary Derelict Vehicle Site in Pockwood Pond” and addressed to:
