The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting bids for redevelopment of the Bregado Flax Educational Centre on Virgin Gorda.  

Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said that the works consist of rehabilitation and reconstruction works to the building concrete frame and reinforced blocks wall with the replacement of damaged roof sections, rehabilitation of carpentry, floor, walls and ceilings finishes and fixtures, rehabilitation of plumbing fixtures and fittings, electrical systems and mechanical works.

Mrs. Rhymer said that all firms or joint ventures which are legally incorporated or have principle place of business in a CDB member country are eligible to apply.

Tenderers are required to adhere to all qualifications outlined in the Tender Notice 19 of 2019.

Bid documents are currently available week days between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and will be made available electronically from the Ministry of Finance upon email request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title respectively.  

Pre-tender meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m.  at the Bregado Flax Educational Centre, Primary Divison, Virgin Gorda. 

Four hard copies and one flash drive of the bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name and address of the bidder and clearly marked, “School Redevelopment-Bregado Flax Educational Centre” and must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10.

All tenderers are invited to attend the bid opening on Tuesday, December 10 at the Ministry of Finance Procurement Unit, Quomar Trading Building #2, 2nd Floor, Blackburn Road at 11:00 a.m.
