Responsibilities
1. Assist with health and safety policy implementation and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with requisite laws and procedures.
2. Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of the on-going health and safety education and information programmes.
3. Provide administrative support to the unit by assisting with the preparation of meetings and presentation materials, drafting and typing of correspondences, and proof-reading various documents to ensure accuracy.
4. Assist with the administration and maintenance of systems to ensure security of confidential personnel data.
5. Maintain records relevant to the unit and also keep filing up to date so that complete records are available for reference.
6. Assist with the investigation, research, analyse and preparation of reports as required.
7. Liaise closely with relevant heads of department, officers and health and safety providers to assist in the identification of and scheduling of medical assessments and outside inspections.
8. Perform any other duties as required by Supervisor or any other senior officer in order to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the unit.
