Today we convened a meeting of the National Emergency Operations Centre in response to the fire incident at Cox Heath. I met with local emergency response officials as well as the Chief Fire Officer from the USVI in relation to the response and containment of the fire.
The Hydrology Project team is inviting persons in the business community to drop-in at the Department of Disaster Management’s office to understand flood risks to their businesses and obtain advice on resilience measures and business continuity planning.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is the recipient of two Armed Response Vehicles (ARV) equipped for the Virgin Islands terrain, specifically for transporting officers of the newly trained and enhanced Armed Response Unit.

The public is notified that Apostille Services have been centralised effective March 1, and will only be offered by the Office of the Deputy Governor. This is in keeping with the Public Service Transformation Initiative that focuses on the redesign of the public service.
