Premier of the Virgin Islands, Dr. the Hon. D. Orlando Smith, OBE led a delegation to the United States Virgin Islands (USVI) on March 31 to attend the official ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the transfer of the Danish West Indies to the United States of America.
The BVI community, including schools, faith-based organisations, and the private and public sector are encouraged to promote active lifestyles in observation of Physical Activity Day on Thursday, April 6.
Staff members of the Social Development Department are featured on April 3, showcasing information tables at Scotia Bank Tortola Branch to encourage support for Child Abuse Prevention and Autism Awareness activities.

We are all here to celebrate the official launch of Trade Entrepreneurial Week, where we focus our efforts on the development of the small business sector, that is — existing and potential entrepreneurs and our youth.
The Electrical Inspection Unit is informing all registered licenced electricians, contractors, home and business owners that an electrical inspection has to be carried out on residential or commercial premises that have been disconnected for six months and over. This inspection has to be completed before reconnection of electricity to the premises.
